About R. A. Greig Equipment Company (RageCo)

Our Story

R. A. Greig Equipment Company was founded in 1968 by Richard A. and Helen M. Greig. With 17 years of construction equipment experience already under his belt, Richard built a loyal following of customers — and a legacy that would span generations. Their son, Richard S. Greig, a Penn State marketing graduate, has led the company since 1977.

In 1980, Greig Equipment made its single largest purchase — a 40-foot JLG telescopic boom lift — marking a shift to aerial equipment rentals. Under consistent growth and community leadership, the company earned several United Way Bronze and Silver Awards, along with recognition from the Presque Isle Partnership.

Today, we continue to serve the Erie Tri-State area with the same passion and purpose that started it all: providing dependable rentals and excellent service — one lift at a time.
